Your identity here
This is deliberately pseudonymous. Your username is all anyone ever sees -- there's no real name field shown anywhere publicly. Say as much or as little about yourself as you're comfortable with.
Verifying your email
You can browse the entire site without an account. To post, you need an account with a verified email -- that's the one requirement, and it exists to keep the forum functioning for everyone. Check your inbox (and spam folder) right after signing up.
Your profile
From your profile page you can set a profile picture (or leave the default), write a short bio, and see your recent threads and posts. It's the same page whether you signed up with a password or with Google.
Password
If you signed up with a password, you can change it from your profile. If you signed up with Google, you'll see an option to set a password there too, in case you ever want to log in without Google.
Deleting your account
Also available from your profile, if you ever want it. It's permanent -- there's no recovery, and you'd need to start over with a new account. Your old posts stay up so conversations don't break for everyone else, but they're unlinked from your username once you're gone.
