Welcome. If you've got someone you love inside a federal facility, this place exists so you're not figuring all of this out alone.
What's actually here
- Forum -- discussion boards, including one for every single federal facility in the country, plus general boards for things like long-distance relationships and kids/visiting.
- Facilities -- every federal prison, camp, detention center, and reentry office, with address, phone, the official mailing format for sending mail, and a live status badge if a facility is community-reported to be on lockdown.
- Guides -- curated, fact-checked reference articles: how CorrLinks actually works, how to send money the right way, mail and package rules, reentry, and more.
- Pen Pals -- profiles for inmates hoping to connect with people outside, added by our staff on their behalf.
Who you are here
Your username is the only thing anyone ever sees. No real name, no personal details, ever shown publicly. You can browse everything without an account -- you only need one to post, and you'll need to verify your email before you can post (not before you can read).
A couple of settings worth knowing about
- EN / ES in the top nav switches the whole site to Spanish and back.
- The sun/moon icon switches between light and dark mode.
- Everything here is built to work well on a phone -- most people reading this are probably doing it from one.
